Ha ha, I was wondering if someone would mention that. By an odd coincidence, I actually watched all three movies recently, like a few days ago. I nearly had our character break down with the whole "WHY AM I HERE, WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS" after he tried to kick pie and was so emotionally vulnerable.

I like the idea of it, that it was always just one room and they were moving around in time and reality, but it was just too poorly executed. Also, the concept does not lend itself to a movie very well, in my mind, as by definition this Cube had no rules, so there was no puzzle, so there was no answer, and that is less than compelling.

Hypercube and Cube Zero both had Female cast members who also had parts in the US version of Queer as Folk.

I was only recently made aware of the Cube Zero fact.

Hypercube - the girl with the red dress - dates and pretty much falls in love with one of the main cast - its amusing.

As for it being far from awesome - I don't disagree, but as a fan of the trilogy I have to love even the less awesome ones.

No, it is much more like the first, but it also shows the people outside the Cube. And it is still pretty bad, though it did have one great thing going for it.

I should mention that it was written and directed by one of the guys who wrote the second one, so it is still non-cannon, in my mind.

I find it a little eerie that I am so ON with you/this game in the last two parts.

I loved the Cube movies, and haven't watched them in a while - now I want to. If you liked them, you might like Cypher and Primer - both are great mindfuck movies.
